Okay I finished two more projects this evening. My Rocket Scientist Quilt and another cute out fit for little Avery's birthday this weekend. I plan on making a flower pin to go with the Girly strips skirt and that should complete her gift.
Okay so I am racing to the finish line to finish my two WIPs with May 17th being my deadline. I am now two months behind on my rocket / space quilt for baby Andrew but he will patiently wait...all babies do....right?
I just finished cutting the squares and rectangles for my sports quilt for baby Cole. As I stated in an earlier blog I am planning on using the ragged squares technique seen on " Crazy Mom Quilts" blog spot: Ragged Squares. But mine will be a combo of rectangles and squares. Kinda modern, kinda vintage but hopefully capturing the sports theme without over doing it. Below is a seek peak at things to come.
I am also trying to start and complete a birthday gift for sweet little Avery this week. I am torn between the Pink Fig "Girly Stripwork" Skirt with a monogrammed top or the Oliver & S " swing Set Tunic & Skirt. I may actually do both depending on time. I'll post some fabric photos once I start.
I finally finished my Kids at Play quilt. As you remember I bought the kit from one of my favorite seller off of Etsy. I added a few of my own fabrics and backing to make it a great little gift for the newest baby in our family.
